Magdalena Neuburger is the founder of the Waacking Linz Community, which has been growing constantly since 2019. She is also a well-known member of the Austrian street and club dance scene, driving its developments forward by organizing and initiating various events. Through traveling, she stays in touch with dancers and Waacking Communities from France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Hungary and Greece.
She sees a high value in researching the history of street and club dance styles and their cultures, which she shares with her community at lectures and includes it further in her academic writing & research.
Moving back and forth between performing and visual arts infuses her interdisciplinary work with a broader view on concepts from both sides. All while staying inspired and bringing attention to the richness of Street and Club Dance Cultures.
